Me and Science
I became interested in the physics of light during my study at the Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH), Hamburg, Germany. There I was involved with light propagation and localization in photonic crystals waveguide and cavity. Since then my work has been in the field of optics (2D and 3D PhCs), branching out into plasmonic and metamaterials, and most recently into thermoelectric materials. Below you will find some of my work.
